Adult social care is all about providing practical and personal support to enable people to live their lives.
There are lots of different roles, depending on what you want to do, who you want to work with and where you’d like to work.
You could be supporting someone with a physical disability, a learning disability and/or autism, mental ill-health or dementia. And this could be in their own home, in the community, a hospice, a care home or a day centre.
Who can work in adult social care?
Lots of social care employers recruit people based on their values, rather than qualifications and experience.
