Wheatley Park School is proud to foster a culture of integration between curriculum teaching and CEIAG.
Through assemblies, newsletters and enrichment, we provide careers information to all students and staff and to many parents, guiding them towards specific online resources, or towards more direct advice available by appointment through our office and during most parents evenings. Our Careers Leaflet is available here and all school documents are available here.
We have adapted the CEIAG provisions in order to prioritise disadvantaged students and to meet the ever increasing demands from OFSTED and from our partners in business and academia in order to ensure all of our students are receiving outstanding career education, information, advice and guidance.
The Careers Office works in tight collaboration with the Year teams in the school and with all tutors, creating a cohesive framework in which we try to establish a career-oriented school mindset in staff and students alike. We work in collaboration with Mr D Aldridge from Adviza.
